Mar Thoma Sunday School 

The Mar Thoma Sunday School Samajam formed in 1905, serves as the central educational institution for children. The growth and development of the Sunday School Samajam as one of the leading Christian educational organizations in India, is the result of the extraordinary organizing abilities of Rev. V. P.Mammen and Rev. Dr. K.K.George. The Samajam provides the Syllabuses and lessons for various grades. Centrally managed annual examinations are also administered to maintain uniformity.

Since 1977, the Samajam is following the curriculum of the Christian Education Council of India. This curriculum is structured so that children aged 5 to 20 years completing 15 years of Sunday school, obtain sound knowledge of scriptures and doctrines of the Church. The Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a major activity of the Sunday school Samajam leading children to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
The Sunday School year is from September to June. Every year, the program commences with a dedication ceremony for students and teachers. Special prayers are offered at a Church service in August for graduating students proceeding to Colleges and Universities.
